XLB does not even come close to Din Tai Fung quality, and to add insult to injury, it's more expensive too. It's $15.50 for 10 pieces $1.55/piece

Stopped in for a quick lunch. We had been here a few years ago but couldn't remember where XLB fell on our preferred dumpling list. After this trip, we decided on:

Review

Not in the least worth all the hype. The dumplings were salty. The eggplant tofu was alright. Green beans were standard.
Front of house staff definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.
